Challenging schedule

Elizabeth is only going to be 6 and Jillian is 3, and their schedules can be very different and very challenging...Never mind throwing in George's Rolling Pin and my dinner's with my LVC friends, its just mind-boggling.

Elizabeth has been rehearsing for Oklahoma, basically on Thursday's and we do not get out until almost 8:30. That's late for someone who is used to being in bed at 7:45/8:00. I do not mind when school is out, but now we are talking 1 or 2 more nights a week, when school is out, until show time...

I can only imagine all the different activities getting worse. I am trying so so hard to keep family dinner together at night, but its just not happening as easily as I would like. I truly believe that the girls, both (of course Jilly) are too young to lose that. Even with dance, we are together...its this Oklahoma thing, which Elizabeth loves and on the positive side, its temporary...I just know that when we are all home, we need to make the most of it...

Ok, I also think that I am PMSing a bit and becoming overly sensitve...

Like you said, at least it is a temporary situation..you know there is an end. You have to make the most of what time you have - it's hard when it seems like they are growing up so fast. The important thing is that you show them how important family is & put it high up in priorities. Flexibility is good too:)

I know what you mean about different schedules. I felt that way in the beginning of the school year when Shawn started CCD. His CCD class started at 4:15pm at St. Stephen's Catholic School. After the first month, Shawn's school bus started dropping him off a lot later. He wasn't getting home until 3:45 which didn't give us enough time for him to go to the bathroom and eat a snack before leaving. I had to arrange for him to be a car rider on Wednesdays. Which meant that I had to wake Joshua up from his nap so I could pick Shawn up at 2:20pm. It also messed up dinner because Shawn wouldn't get home until 6:00pm and that is if Don picked him up. If Don couldn't pick him up, I would just wait at the school since it wouldn't be worth driving all the way home and then have to drive all the way back after 15 minutes. So I feel your pain.

How are the girls feeling today? Jillian still progressing to something else? Elizabeth tolerating the meds and stuff ears??
